Expansion Project

CARCON’s scope of work included managing the design and the setting of the concrete beams for this light rail project. Additionally, CARCON performed quality control and inspection services for the Construction Manager. Sister company, STL Engineers, performed construction materials testing for this light rail expansion of Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s (DART) Blue line in South Oak Cliff. This 2.6 mile extension of Light Rail includes two stations and ties the DART line to the University of North Texas Dallas Campus.
