Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center Replacement

The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center Replacement Hospital project at Fort Hood, Texas replaced an existing 45-year old medical center and provides a new state-of-the-art healthcare facility for our service members and their families. The project consists of an acute care hospital and outpatient clinic, central utility plant, an ambulance parking garage and three parking garages for patients, visitors and staff. The facility showcases numerous innovative sustainable features and was designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold certification.

Texas A&M University Main Campus – Corps Dorms

CARCON Industries provided the QC Coordinator and Quality Control QC Inspectors. CARCON’s QC involvement included civil, rail and systems quality inspections as well as oversight of the STL Laboratory and all inspection reporting on the 4.5. Miles. CARCON Industries inspected and verified all the placements on direct fixation bridge for track, inspections of all duct banks, camwood insolation including mandrel, Inspection and testing in all the grounding. Our inspectors provide initial inspections and instruction in quality control training program and contract close out on all elements.
